Hostripples Refund Policy

Hostripples Hosting

All payments made to Hostripples are non-refundable unless explicitly covered under our limited money-back guarantee. This includes setup fees, monthly fees, add-ons, upgrades, renewals, and recurring payments, regardless of service usage.

Hostripples offers a 30-day money-back guarantee only on shared web hosting plans and only for first-time customers. Refund requests must be raised within 30 days from the service activation date. Recurring payments, renewals, upgrades, migrations, and reinstated services are strictly excluded.

If a customer has previously held a hosting account with Hostripples, canceled it, or already received a refund, they will not be eligible for any refund on subsequent orders.

Refunds exclude domain registration fees, domain transfers, SSL certificates, software licenses, one-time setup charges, and migration services. Domains once registered will remain the property of the customer and can be used with any provider by updating nameservers.

Any violation of Hostripples Terms of Service (TOS), Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), or Service Level Agreement (SLA) will immediately void all refund rights.

Billing disputes must be reported within 15 days of the occurrence. Invalid chargebacks or payment disputes may result in immediate service suspension, termination, and applicable reconnection or administrative fees.

Hostripples VPS

VPS services are covered by a one-time 7-day money-back guarantee applicable only to the first VPS order of a customer. This guarantee can be claimed only once per customer lifetime.

Refunds are not applicable for VPS services if the service has been used for spamming, bulk email, hacking attempts, malware hosting, scanning activities, or any action that violates Hostripples policies.

Refunds do not include software licenses, control panels (such as cPanel or Plesk), bandwidth overages, add-ons, or custom configurations.

Customers must submit a refund request to the billing department within seven (7) days of service activation. Requests raised after this period will not be considered.

Dedicated Servers

Dedicated server services are strictly non-refundable. Once provisioned, no cancellations, partial refunds, or service credits will be provided under any circumstances.

This includes setup fees, provisioning charges, upgrades, bandwidth usage, and partial-month usage.

No Refund & No Credit Situations

No refunds or service credits shall be provided for issues arising from or related to the following:

  • Scheduled or emergency server maintenance
  • Scheduled or unplanned data center network maintenance
  • Network issues affecting specific ISPs, regions, or routing paths
  • DDoS attacks, hacking attempts, brute-force attacks, or under-attack situations
  • Failure or malfunction of third-party software such as cPanel, Plesk, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, or similar
  • Application-level issues, coding errors, database corruption, or customer misconfiguration
  • Temporary website or application unavailability
  • DNS propagation delays
  • Force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, power failures, or upstream provider outages

Backup & Data Responsibility

Hostripples does not guarantee backups of any account, server, or service. Customers are solely responsible for maintaining their own backups. Any backups provided by Hostripples are offered as a courtesy only and without guarantee.

Hostripples shall not be held liable for data loss, corruption, deletion, or restoration failures. Customers are strongly advised to maintain off-network backups at their own risk.

Uptime Credits

In the event of service unavailability, Hostripples may provide service credits (not cash refunds) as per the SLA. The maximum credit shall not exceed the monthly service charge for the affected service.

  • 95% – 99.4% availability: 10% credit
  • 90% – 94.9% availability: 20% credit
  • Below 89.9% availability: 25% credit

Credit requests must be submitted within three (3) business days of the incident by emailing billing@hostripples.in. Credits are the sole and exclusive remedy for downtime-related issues.

Final Authority

All refund eligibility, service credits, and compensation decisions are solely at the discretion of Hostripples. The minimum duration, nature, and impact of an issue eligible for compensation may vary from case to case based on technical evaluation.

The customer agrees that Hostripples’ decision shall be final and binding and cannot be disputed or denied. Hostripples reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
